Offline Mode & Install App

Why offline mode?

Many golf courses have poor or no mobile reception. Tournament Caddie automatically saves your page so you can enter scores even without internet.

Preparation

Open your personal QR link once with an internet connection — ideally before the round, e.g. at home or in the clubhouse. The page is automatically saved for offline access.

Tip: In the QR code email and on printouts you'll find the hint *"Open link beforehand for offline use"*.

Entering scores without reception

If you have no reception while playing, you can still enter scores. The app shows a yellow "Offline" banner. Your scores are saved locally on your device.

Once you have reception again (e.g. in the clubhouse), the scores are automatically synced to the server. You don't need to do anything.

Install on your home screen

For the quickest access, you can install Tournament Caddie on your home screen:

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open your personal QR link in Safari

2. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow)

3. Select "Add to Home Screen"

4. Tap "Add"

Android (Chrome)

1. Open your personal QR link in Chrome

2. Tap the three dots (menu)

3. Select "Add to Home Screen"

The app then opens like a standalone app — directly to your score entry, without browser bars.
