Creating a Tournament

Create a new tournament

Click "New Tournament" on the dashboard. Fill in the following fields:

• Tournament name — The name displayed to players and on the leaderboard.
• Tournament type — Choose between Men, Women or Mixed. For men-only or women-only tournaments, the gender field is set automatically when adding players.
• Player language — Players will see the score entry, flights and leaderboard in this language. You can change it later.
• Number of rounds — How many rounds your tournament has. You can add or remove rounds later.
• Auto-confirm — When enabled, scorecards are confirmed immediately on submission and appear directly on the leaderboard. Without this option, you must manually confirm each score.
• Push notifications — When enabled, players can receive push notifications, e.g. when a round is released, flights are published, or their score is confirmed. Players decide for themselves whether to enable notifications.
• Placement points — When enabled, an additional ranking appears on the leaderboard: the round winner gets the most points, last place gets one point. Ties share points. The overall ranking is the sum across all rounds.
• Data consent — You must confirm that you have the consent of your participants to process their data and send them emails.

Click "Create tournament" — you will be redirected to the tournament detail page.

Edit a tournament

On the tournament detail page, click the Edit button to change the name, type, language, auto-confirm, push notifications, placement points and number of rounds.

Delete a tournament

Click the Delete button to permanently remove a tournament. All players, scorecards and rounds will be deleted.
